MAP: CT Black Bear Sightings
A look at reported bear sightings in Connecticut through February of this year with 8 in Montville. Not the highest, but hey, eight is enough, right?
According to the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, 2,776 bears sightings were reported between April 2012 and February 2013, with the most coming from Farmington (239), Burlington (200) and Torrington (168).
