Images of Mourning; Montville Holds Prayer Vigil for Newtown Victims [Photos and Video]

More than 200 residents -- parents, families, neighbors, students, educators, public officials -- came together to share thoughts, poems and prayers Sunday night


Poems and prayers, hope and healing brought hundreds together at Montville High School Sunday to honor the 20 children and six educators slaughtered last week at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown.

i wish while i was there i had thought to stand up and remind our community that his mother was also killed at his hand and yet no one is grieving her. i think we all are overlooking the fact that she to was an innocent . god has all 27 with him and my dad who passed little over a year ago is helping to watch over those children and school staff and let the mother know it wasnt her fault..
