1. The sun rose at 5:25 a.m., the waning gibbous moon will set just before noon and the sun will shine all day, with temperatures topping out at around 81 accompanied by light breezes. What else can we say about this gorgeous weather but...more please! 

2. First up, Borrowed Toys performs live tonight at 6 p.m. at the large pavilion at Camp Oakdale. Go get your rock on!

3. hosts the Senior Clinic today beginning at 9 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. Screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar testing and other services are free but donations are accepted. Stop by 12 Maple Avenue in Uncasville or call 860-848-0422 for more information.

4. This is just so awesome! On to support the services Hospice Southeastern Connecticut provides to the community.  What a great group of giving people. Be still our collective hearts. Hospice Southeastern Connecticut provides care in the home and often in skilled nursing facilities for those approaching the end of their life, regardless of age, disease or inability to pay. The organization also provides bereavement services for families in New London County free of charge, regardless of whether their loved one received hospice care.
