It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood, Montville.

 

1. Zero percent chance of rain, 100 percent chance of sun; another stunning day, Montville, so get out there and enjoy! 

2. Today and tomorrow, Thursday Sept., the town is chip sealing Kitemaug Road, Massepaug Side Road and East Lake Road from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. And they're also finishing up Raymond Hill Road-work today as well. Expect delays, folks.

3.  Are you kidding? This is so sweet, so awesome.  From our friends at the Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind: With just an hour or two per week you can be a friendly visitor, a shopping buddy or a reader for an elderly neighbor who is legally blind.  

4. It’s back! Oh, and the library has its ebook service up and running, according to Town Councilor Rosetta Jones, so check it out.
