Daily Five: Spectacular September, Back-to-School Night at Tyl and Another Bear Euthanized

1. Another gorgeous day; I love September!  Sunny, dry, light breezes, with a high temp of 79. Are you serious? Perfect! 

2. Not a Grizzly, but definitely not a Teddy, either. after the not-so-docile Ursus americanus became too aggressive” with people.  How do you feel about people that film, feed, taunt, and bait the smallest  and most common of North American bears?

3. The Hmmm. I have an iPhone (thanks, Patch!) and I love it. Still getting used to Siri. (When she can do the dishes and fold laundry, I’ll be impressed.)

4. It’s Back to School Night at Leonard J. Tyl Middle School tonight from 6 to 8. Kids may not act like it, but they want their parents to go. So if you’re a parent of one of the hundreds of middle schoolers, eat an early dinner and get there.

5. The Gardner Lake Authority meets tonight at 7 p.m. at the Bozrah Senior Center, 111 Bishops Road. The agenda is light.
