Update: Daily Five: Senior Safety Zones Are Back, College Night at MHS and Bingo Jackpot!

1. Sunny skies with a high of 49 today. Perfect fall day, eh?

2. The Town Council meeting agenda tonight includes a resolution for a second public hearing on the controversial Senior Safety Zone ordinance.

3. Rescheduled from Oct. 30 (thanks Superstorm Sandy), tonight from 7 to 9 is College Planning night at Montville High School in the Library/Media Center. Except to see topics covered from ‘what seniors should be doing now’ to the application process including writing the essay and financial aid. Also from MHS, as an FYI, Thursday is a half day of classes to accommodate parents teachers conference.

4. The Chesterfield Fire House bingo jackpot is $2,000! And someone has to win it. This Friday. Be there.

5. Busy day at Dr. Charles E. Murphy: fourth graders take a trip to the state capitol, kickball after school and the PTO meets at 6.
