Daily Five: Mohegan Sun Restaurant Week, KeepSight and LAX Registration

Your Five, folks.

1. A heat wave! Today’s high will almost reach 40! Plus, expect lots of sun. Nice.

2. KeepSight will be at the Montville Senior Center today at 10 a.m. giving a free seminar on Age Related Macular Degeneration, one of the lead causes of blindness in seniors. The group says it will provide information on symptoms and the importance of monitoring vision and visits to eye care providers when one notices vision changes. The seminar will be held right before the Senior Center’s monthly meeting.

4. Mohegan Sun’s Restaurant Week begins Sunday, Jan. 6 through Jan. 11 when “restaurants all across the property will be featuring some of their best dishes at great prices.”  I’m in.
