Daily Five: Clouds to Sun, Awesome Indians, Every Float a Winner!

1. Clouds make way for afternoon sun with temps in the 50s. Nice.

2. Congratulations to the Montville Indians for an awesome season. They played their hearts out and we love them for it!

3. We’ll have a list of all the winners later today and will post it in the Holiday Lights Parade story, but let’s just say this: Every float was beautiful and special and brilliantly lit. So congrats to all…winners every one!

4. A faculty meeting of Tyl Middle School educators form 3 to 4 today means “no late buses and after school activities by appointment only” per the website.

5.  Tonight’s Public Safety Commission special meeting was called to discuss the public safety plan recommendations. The irony? Last week when the plan was presented, nearly every fire and first responder was on the scene of not one, but two fires.
