Daily 5: Politics, Burgers and Kitties!

What better way to start a week?

1. Happy Monday! Expect a mostly cloudy day today, with a chance of showers, and maybe some patchy fog in the morning. The high temperature should be in the mid-60s. Showers are likely tonight, mainly before 10 p.m.

2. Here's a hint... you have to leave Montville to get one of these burgers! And while we're talking weekends, please put your favorite pix from the weekend up on YOUR Weekend in Photos!

3. Rep. Tom Reynolds,, says he's been endorsed by more than 50 current and former elected party leaders and officials. You can find the list in the photo box. Republican Rep. Chris Coutu has also declared his intention to run for Prague's seat. Prague herself has endorsed Cathy Osten.

The Democratic Convention for the 19th Senatorial District, the candidate replacing Prague, will be held tonight at Norwich City Hall, Room 335.

4. On Tuesday at St. Bernard School, there will be two meetings for parents of students interested in going on a Nicaragua mission trip that will take place over April vacation of next year.  Parents must attend one of these meetings - at 2 p.m. or 7 p.m. - before any deposits will be accepted. For more information,  contact Mrs. Patten at 860.848.1271, ext. 148 or ministry@saint-bernard.com.

5. Monday Fun! Check out the two videos in the photo box! One is just the cutest little kitten, called a Scottish fold. The other? A cat who likes water, yup.
