Vote For Your Favorite Photos of Connecticut's Natural Beauty

The Connecticut Fund for the Environment and Save the Sound groups are sponsoring the third annual photo contest on Facebook.

Majestic beauty is all around us at our parks, rivers, and beaches.

To encourage folks to enjoy and capture that beauty, Connecticut Fund for the Environment (CFE) and Save the Sound are having their third annual Facebook photo contest.

Everyone is invited to vote simply by visiting the group’s Facebook pages and “liking” the photos between now and January 21.

According to the CFE Facebook page, “part of the reason for this contest is to show people the incredible sites and wildlife our state has to offer, and hopefully to encourage folks to get out and explore”.

For the Save the Sound contest, folks were invited to submit their favorite photos of critters, sunsets, or anything that is Long Island Sound.

Winning photos can also be featured on the Connecticut Fund for the Environment and Save the Sound websites, brochures, or office walls like the winning photo from last year.
