Norwich Republicans Endorse Coutu

State Rep. Chris Coutu, Republican candidate for Congress in Connecticut’s 2nd District, announced today that the Norwich Republican Town Committee (RTC) has endorsed his campaign.  The Norwich RTC is the first town committee to endorse in the 2nd District.

Norwich RTC Chairman Ray Dussault announced the endorsement, "Chris Coutu is working very hard to get his message out and has demonstrated the willingness to earn the respect of the voters by taking a hard stand against wasteful corporate bailouts, government sponsored taxpayer investments, and this administration’s efforts to undermine and weaken our United States Armed Forces. Connecticut needs a conservative Representative who has the courage to speak up and speak out - Chris Coutu is that man."

Coutu said, “I’m grateful for the support of my hometown Republican Committee.  This election is going to be about preserving the American Dream.  Washington’s tax, spend and borrow attitude is crushing our economy.   Americans are worried that for the first time in our history we’re going to leave our children with a country in worse shape than we found it.  We can’t let that happen.  We need to change Washington in 2012.”
