Readers' Choice: Alas, Holdridge's Beats Montville's Florists

Roses are red, violets are blue, and Holdridge’s is the in Ledyard, Waterford, New London and Montville, too.

The competition was suspenseful for a little while with keeping a narrow lead ahead of Holdridge’s for the first couple days. People chimed in on all the participating Patch sites to proclaim their allegiance and thank their favorite florist, which should come as some consolation to those not in top slot.

Holdridge's employee and Patcher Rheanna Comeau pointed out that Holdridge’s is a local favorite because the family-owned business has a lot to offer.

She wrote, “Holdridge's of course! You can always find more than just cut flowers like the plant pictured above ;)” in the comments.
