Foley to Speak on Health-Care Changes

Republican Town Committee Is Sponsoring the Gathering at the VFW

John Foley will speak about the Patient Protection and Affordability Act on May 19, at the VFW on Raymond Hill Road.

The event is a fundraiser for the Montville Republican Town Committee.

Your $10 suggested contribution pays for the program and discussion as well as a light buffet. There is a cash bar.

The focus of Foley’s talk will be the changes you can expect as a result of health care reform. He will discuss a timeline for the expected changes and the effect they will have on taxpayers and citizens.

Foley is an attending cardiologist at Cardiology Associates in Norwich, and an attending physician and clinician at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven.

According to a press release, he is also vice president and associate councilor for the Connecticut State Medical Society, and a trustee on the Board of Directors for the New London Medical Association.

He is active in community and in public service, volunteering with Boy Scout Troop 36 in Waterford. He is also an elected 4th District representative in Waterfordʼs Representative Town Meeting.

He has served on the Finance Committee for the Simmons for U.S. Senate and Simmons for U.S. Representative campaigns.
