Due to popular demand, SolToro Tequila Grill, a Michael Jordan restaurant, has partnered with El Charro Tequila once again to present The Perfect Margarita Contest for the second year in a row, giving YOU the opportunity to submit your recipe for consideration as THE absolute most perfect margarita this side of Mexico!
Margarita lovers of all kinds, from mixologists to connoisseurs and everyone in between, can enter their recipes for a chance to win fabulous prizes, major bragging rights and we’ll even add your recipe to our cocktail list for one full year!

SolToro and El Charro representatives will invite their favorites to SolToro to compete in monthly semi-final competitions. Hosted by popular local radio personalities, the semi-final competitions will be held at 8 p.m. on the last Friday of each month: February 24, March 30 and April 27. The winners of each semi-final competition, as determined by a panel of judges, will be invited back to SolToro on Cinco de Mayo, when the Grand Prize winner will be announced.
Things you should know: All recipes must be submitted 24 hours before each semi-final competition; only the top five recipes will be chosen to compete in the semi-finals; all participants must bring their own ingredients for their "Perfect Margarita" - SolToro will only be providing the alcohol (IF available in the state of CT).

What’s the catch? Contestants must be 21 or older at the time of entry, and, if chosen, must be available to attend semi-final and Grand Prize competitions at SolToro. All recipes must include El Charro Brand Tequila.
