Casinos Offer Kentucky Derby Festivities Saturday

Both and have announced their Kentucky Derby activities scheduled for Saturday.

Both casinos' parties begin at 10 a.m.

Here's what's happening at the casinos:

• Foxwoods' website says the races will be displayed on 50-foot digital projection screens and there will be wagering windows and self-service terminals. The fun starts at 10 a.m. and includes a hat parade, mint juleps and more in the grand ballroom.
• Mohegan will offer mint juleps, races on the big screens, buffet, betting terminals, and special guests with Derby advice, their website says.
