Who is the most civic-minded individual you know in eastern Connecticut? Which man or woman most exemplifies success in business and in community? If a name springs immediately to mind, download the PDF attached to this article and nominate him or her for Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Citizen of the Year!

The deadline for nominations is Feb. 15.

2013 will mark the 63rd year that this award has been given. 

Last year’s winner was Dr. Grace S. Jones.

I would love to nominate my husband Robert Coggeshall citizen of the yr. since 1996 he has donated bone marrow stem cells white blood cells to same person. He game 9 extra yrs of loving for 28 yr old guy. Sadly he passed in 2005. He got to meet him. Also 5 yrs later he got to be currier for National Bone Marrow association. He uses his vacation time to travel all over country and world to deliver marrow, stem cells. He is my hero because he helps save lives of children adults. He would love to be currier for delivering human organs when he retires.
