AES Thames Slated for Demolition

What will the landscape look like without AES Thames?

Nearly a year ago, Montville Mayor Ron McDaniel took the federal bankruptcy court-approved check for $2,360,000 straight to the bank. The payment was to cover taxes owed to the town by bankrupt AES Thames.

Now, according to a report in The Day, the Arizona-based company that brought the site for $2.5 million is planning to demolish the Depot Road plant.
