A Beautiful Day For The Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Walk

Annual Walk Across Southeastern Connecticut Saturday raises thousands for breast cancer research - add your photos to our gallery!

Whether they started at 7 a.m., in Old Saybrook, 10:30 a.m., in East Lyme, or 1 p.m., in Niantic, the several hundred walkers who participated in the annual Terri Brodeur Breast Cancer Foundation Walk Across Southeastern Connecticut participated for the same reason - to find a cure for breast cancer.

Those early risers walked 26.2 miles to the finish line at Harkness Memorial State Park. Those who started in East Lyme walked 13.1 miles. And those who gathered at the Niantic Baptist Church in the early afternoon walked 6.5 miles to raise money for grants to breast cancer researchers.
