Oakdale Teen Located Shortly After Being Reported Missing

Police, K-9 and fire were dispatched to search for missing autistic teen, who was missing for 30 minutes

Montville Police report that earlier this evening Montville Dispatch received a 911 call from the Oakdale section of Montville.  The 911 caller stated that her 15-year-old autistic son was missing and had been missing for approximately thirty minutes, according to Montville Police Sgt. Earnest Greenwood Jr.  

Greenwood said members of the Montville Town Police responded to the scene and shortly thereafter assistance was requested from the Connecticut State Police, the East Lyme Police Department (K-9) and the Oakdale Fire Department.

Fortunately, within minutes, Greenwood said, the teen was located sitting in a vehicle parked in the driveway of the residence, "safe and sound."
