Kids enjoy helping, and here's a task that will be good for you both

Kids love to help and cleaning is one way they can.

Let them be your assistant! You can use a reward or treat, or just help them learn about the pleasures of working side by side with someone you love.

Cleaning windows is a great task for the kids. It can be great fun, and give nearly instant satisfaction!

Here's a good, safe window-cleaning solution. Mix one part vinegar with three parts water.

Dip a rag or sponge into the solution and wash away.

When they are finished scrubbing, have them dry the windows with a sheet of newspaper or a paper towel - and polish to a shine.

In addition, vinegar leaves the windows streak free. Therefore, it does not really matter if they do a kid-level job.
