The Holiday Cookie Sale at Fair Oaks School Community Center hosted by Project Graduation 2013 is also on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. “Don't have time to bake this holiday season,” organizers ask. “Stop by and pick up a scrumptious assortment of hand selected cookies homemade by some of the best local bakers in town.”

Handmade for the Holidays: 744 Long Hill Rd. Groton, Monday through Friday, until December 21, noon to 5 p.m.: The fifth annual Handmade for the Holidays show features more than twenty local artists.

Ledyard

Holiday Night / Basket Bash: Ledyard Center School, 740 Colonel Ledyard Hwy, Ledyard, Fri., December 13, 3:30 to 7:30 p.m.: Stop by for the chance to win themed baskets while enjoying holiday stories and caroling.

New London

Holiday Cards and Other Items for Sale: Habitat for Humanity of Southeastern Connecticut, 377 Broad St, New London, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.: Holiday cards, and other homemade items such as glass ornaments and hats are for sale. Proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Southeastern Connecticut.
