Yikes, it’s August already! When did that happen? There’s just no time for dilly-dallying this weekend because we have plenty of events to keep you busy. So get up, get movin’ and have yourself a jam-packed weekend of fun!

1. 

WHERE/WHEN: Show runs Aug. 4 to 28 at the Norma Terris Theater in Chester.

2. 

WHERE/WHEN: Thursday through Sunday at Martin Park in East Hartford.

WHY GO: Bluegrass, bluegrass, bluegrass! Plus, check out workshops with the artists, activities for kids and band and songwriting competitions.

3. CONCERTS AT THE KATE

WHERE/WHEN: This weekend at The Kate in Old Saybrook, enjoy chamber music on Friday at 8 p.m. with the Chestnut Hill Concerts, “edu-tainment” with Steve Elci & Friends at 1 p.m. on Saturday,Peter Yarrow of Peter, Paul & Mary on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Mystic’s indie band, Barefoot Truth, on Sunday at 7 p.m.

WHY GO: There’s a little something for every music lover!

PRICING: Chestnut Hill Concert tickets are $25 to $30 each; Steve Elci tickets are $5 for kids and $8 for adults; Peter Yarrow tickets are $40 each; Barefoot Truth tickets are $20 to $35.

WHERE/WHEN: Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Wadawanuck Square in Stonington.
