Connecticut bands needed for the Home Brew Battle of the Bands

at is teaming up with Radio 104.1 for the Home Brew Battle of the Bands contest in April, the casino says.

Connecticut bands can enter their music at Radio 104.1's website. Favorites will be selected to play the April 15 show at Foxwoods.

According to the press release, the winners will receive a cash prize of $500 and a chance for their band’s song to be played on Radio 104.1.

And bands, don't leave your groupies at home! Winners will be selected by text-in-vote.

The Home Brew Battle of the Bands contest will be on Sunday, April 15 from 8 to 11 p.m. at The Scorpion Bar at Foxwoods.
