Video: Three-Legged Kitten Needs a Home
If you didn't know Eager had only three legs, you might not notice right away. He is all kitten!
Montville Animal Control Officer Chris Martel picked Eager up after he had been hit by a car, says Tiffany Williams, who is acting as a foster mom for the kitten.
Martel brought him to the vet; the kitten's leg could not be saved. But Eager could.
He woke up from surgery a three-legged kitten and never looked back, Williams says. He runs and plays and does all the nutty things any kitten does. Animals just don't feel sorry for themselves.

"He cleans himself fast, he purrs fast, he runs fast, he loves fast," Williams says. And that's why she named him Eager.
