More Montville residents than ever, it seems, bundled up to brave Sunday night's chilly weather and cheer on the marchers and floats in the 13th annual Christmas Parade Sunday, which

The parade featured 25 local and out-of-town participants, including the New London Motorcycle Club and fire companies from Chesterfield and Quaker Hill.

Parks and Recreation Commission chairman Stanley Gwudz pointed to the addition of the Norwich Free Academy Marching Band as one sign that the parade was expanding.

Parks and Recreation Director Peter Bushway, in his first year in the job, said that from what Montville Police Lt. Leonard Bunnell told him, more people than ever attended this year's parade.
