Malloy Orders Flags To Fly At Half Staff In Honor Of Lt. Col. Budrejko

Lt. Col. Budrejko served in the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 and grew up in Montville

A press release from Governor Dannel P. Malloy:

Governor Dannel P. Malloy ordered flags across Connecticut to fly at half staff on Saturday, March 17, 2012 in honor of Lieutenant Colonel Thomas A. Budrejko. 

Lt. Col. Budrejko served in the Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 469 and was raised in Montville.  He was killed on February 22, 2012 during a military helicopter training accident.

Flags will fly at half staff from sunrise to sunset on Saturday, the day Lt. Col. Budrejko will be laid to rest in Newington, Connecticut.
