Kickin' Butts at Montville Youth Center Today

Kick Butts Day is a national day of activism and anti-smoking education. Today there are more than 1,000 events in schools and communities across the U.S.

In recognition of  Kick Butts Day, Montville Youth Service Bureau is sponsoring various activities to show students the dangers of smoking.

One of the most popular segments has always been ‘They put WHAT in a Cigarette!’ This year, the items will be part of a scavenger hunt for kids to participate in as they learn more about the dangers of smoking.

Kids will also be pledging to not use any tobacco products and will do so using painted handprints - fun!  Part of the pledge is to help encourage and support friends trying to quit.
