The Chabad Jewish Center has announced plans to host a free, open-to-all holiday event. The program, celebrating the festival of Hanukkah, will be held on the seventh evening of the holiday – tonight, at 6 p.m. All are welcome!
The celebration will be held at the Town Green in Colchester. “We invite the entire community to participate in the festivities,” said Rabbi Yosef Wolvovsky, Executive Director of Chabad. “Hanukkah celebrates the religious freedom of all.”
In addition to the kindling of a giant, 9-foot Menorah candelabra, hot cider and warm potato “Latkes” (pancakes) will be served. There will also be festive music and free raffles. Children and adults are welcome to this special celebration, free of charge!
For more information regarding this program, or Hanukkah in general, please call Rabbi Yosef Wolvovsky at (860) 659-2422, email Rabbi@ChabadER.com, or log on to www.ChabadER.com.
