Update: Power Is Still Out for 30 Percent of Town
Northeast Utilities now hopes to have power restored by 8 p.m.
A good portion of Montville is still out of power this evening, according to Connecticut Light and Power.
CL&P's website says that power is out to as much as 29 percent of Montville.
Fire Marshal Ray Occhialini, who also is the director of Emergency Services for the town, says the issue started at a substation on Jerome Road.

The power is out for 2,332 people from the Waterford line to Norwich, mainly in the Uncasville area, Occhialini says.
