Fireworks, Saturday and Sunday

Saturday, they're scheduled for New London; Norwich has postponed its fireworks until Sunday

The Fourth is over, but the fun is just beginning, if you're a fan of fireworks.

The Mashantucket Pequot Fireworks Extravaganza will lght up the night sky Saturday at Sailfest, a three-day celebration that features the largest fireworks presentation in New England, and one of the largest in the United States.

The display is scheduled to start at 9:20 p.m., and you'll be well served to head to New London earlier. Groton also will be an excellent viewing spot, especially by the monument.

The display will be synchronized with music aired by Citadel Broadcasting's four local radio stations: Q105 (105.5 FM), The Wolf (102.3 FM), WXLM (980 AM) and WELJ (104.7 FM).
