Easter Bunny Visits 200 Deserving Montville Children

Children and older kids that might otherwise not have an Easter Basket come Sunday morning will because of the generosity of the community

From the always awesome Kathleen 'Kathi' Doherty-Peck, director of Montville's Senior and Social Services department:

The Montville Senior & Social Services Department is helping the Easter Bunny this year by providing almost 200 children with Easter Baskets & Goodies!  This annual program is a great deal of fun for the Department, which puts together Easter Baskets for the young ones and distributes large chocolate bunnies for the older children of families in need.

The Easter Basket Program, which is funded entirely on donations, is a help to our families to ensure the children in our town get to enjoy the Easter Holiday with a Basket from the Easter Bunny!

If you are in need and/or would like to help with donations next year, please contact Kathleen Doherty-Peck, Director @860-848-0422 or Robin Washington, Asst. @ 860-848-8820 for details!
