Chili Cook-Off Winners Announced

In the spirit of the former ‘Chili Knights’ chili cook-off, the Republican Town Committee held its first – and what may and up being its annual – chili cook-off Sunday.

Nine different chili dishes were entered and according to organizers there was a great turnout at the event held at the Oakdale firehouse. 

So who won the $100 1st place prize?

The panel of judges found that the most superior chili at the event, the best of the best was …Patty Duerrier! Congratulations, Patty! 

In 2nd place was Rosetta Jones (Montville Town Councilor) and in 3rd was Tom McNally. The Best Decorated Table was Ed LeFrancois and the Peoples Choice award also went to Ed LeFrancois.
