New London County Judo raises $665 for the American Heart Association

November 2nd 2013.
Montville based New London County Judo (Also in Groton and Fishers Island NY), along with Conerstone Katate (Salem) and The Moonlit Path (Brandford) Held a combined Martial Arts clinic in Montville with all proceeds going to the American Heart Association. This in memory of Sensei Egnor's niece Laura Wildermuth Cook, His brother Fred Egnor and Sam Tilery a Tang Soo Do leader.
Sensei Ron Egnor Judo) and Master Jason Barrs (Tang Soo Do) and many of their club leaders taught techniques to children blending the two arts and emphasizing self-defense and anti-bullying. In the adult session specialized advanced techniques were taught including arm bars and chokes.
The group raised $665.00 dollars which Sensei Ron Egnor and Sensei Sharon Hunt delivered to The American Heart Association to be used in the "GO Red" campaign for women.
