Richard --Then why pass a law?? Pass that law then another making it mandatory. And that is EXACTLYRead More what I said no law,ect you re-read again.
Richard Waselik May 19, 2013 at 05:54 am
What law making you do anything? Its voluntary. Read it again...
REVMAN May 18, 2013 at 09:24 am
It looks to me like another LAW that will not work if you haven't set up a retirement plan theRead More minute you got a job that's your problem. What is wrong with the younger generation is you say to them if they had a ROTH when I was working I wouldn't need an accountant to do my taxes. No law will help you save for retirement only YOU can do that.

They should bury him in pieces so as to show ALLAH he disgraced his people and religion
Lori Houser May 7, 2013 at 02:56 pm
I mean isn't there a burial plot just for killers somewhere. Where they want to bury this killer isRead More in a plot where some of our lost soldiers are buried. That's just sick.

A great leap backward for the Patch. Most people I know say it is too hard to comment. I agree itRead More stinks.
Daniella Ruiz May 9, 2013 at 08:44 am
all above, i agree. the layout of this has become rife with those dumb 'frames', cute slidingRead More (annoying) things, and those drop down menues are simply time wasting! like the old originalk Model T Ford, the site has 'improved' beyond utility, to an expression of some PhD in Info Tech's fantasy. i mentioned the same to whatziz name, paul?, but this new look must have been like a 'hammer' from Arrianne Huffington herself. most people use ad blocking software anyway, to obscure the junk they try to foist on you, they should just offer a nice consolidated page (alone) that shows local deals within range of the people who read.

After today I bet A lot of Watertown,Ma. residences wish they had GUNS.
Howard April 18, 2013 at 08:23 am
Oh, I almost forgot. We need to ban hands so no one can strangle anybody.
Howard April 18, 2013 at 08:20 am
Sure, let us do that. We should also ban tableware (even spoons can kill), frying pans, baseballRead More bats, tennis racquets and broken tree branches.
Lori Houser April 17, 2013 at 07:38 am
Im thinking of leaving also. Its not just about the gun law that was just passed. Its so much moreRead More than that. In the 27 years I have lived here I have seen electric bills go from 60 a month to 300 a month. Gas from a fill up for 185 to $ 570. They are pricing us right out of the state financially. Our incomes are not going any higher, and unions are useless and don't have the power to help like they once did. I hate to leave all my family and friends, but sometimes you have to give up to have a better and happier life. I have four more years to see if things get any better. Once the last child graduates, a decision will be made. I Love this town and state and hope I don't have to leave. Time will tell.

I'm glad you have such faith in our community. Unfortunately, even the best places have their shareRead More of bigots and the narrow-minded. Read "Defending Jacob" and you will see how the misdeeds of individuals get extended to those around them.
Beverly Arnold Mattison April 14, 2013 at 06:34 pm
Girls doing great. keep it up..
Ellyn Santiago (Editor) April 11, 2013 at 08:07 am
What Lori said! You go girls!
Fort Shantok in the evening
Henry April 13, 2013 at 08:44 pm
Th fort would be better for the town if developed and thus generating income.
Corey Sipe April 12, 2013 at 03:09 pm
I agree! Especially the Freedom Forest, walking bridge, and waterfall areas.
REVMAN April 15, 2013 at 09:45 am
That makes 2 of us.
frances sylvia April 14, 2013 at 03:26 pm
I do!
REVMAN April 14, 2013 at 08:20 am
Here is a nickels worth looks like n oone reads the Patch anymore.
shara mulholland April 10, 2013 at 05:03 pm
Really? So they can start banning sports because of injuries.
Just my opinion April 10, 2013 at 11:22 am
One big issue is even though my child plays school sports she plays travel sports so an injury fromRead More travel might not be recorded as travel and go under school making the study wrong. Many children play outside of school how would they make sure they have proper data. Maybe they should document something that they can be sure that the info they use is correct.
Mike Atkins April 8, 2013 at 07:45 am
@Sean, irrelevant, only because parents think their child is the next great athlete and are willingRead More to pay the thousands of dollars to get them a spot on a team. Typically many of those child athletes would have a difficult time making the HS team without Daddy's money.
