Update: Unknown Substance Turns Out to Be Talcum Powder
Emergency vehicles and personnel gather on Occum Lane at Martin Court
Police investigating an unknown substance this morning on Occum Lane at Martin Court found that the substance was merely talcum powder.
The powder was discovered in a plastic Easter egg at a home in the area earlier today.
Hazardous materials precautions were taken, an emergency services worker said, just in case the white substance had turned out to be dangerous.
